Reaching Out David, Israel's greatest king, penned these words: "O God, you are my God, earnestly I seek You." Many of us are like David. We are on the lookout for God. A Community of Seekers At First Baptist, we are seeking after God. Maybe you are too. It could be that you are wondering if God cares about your particular situation. We believe he does. We believe he has something to say to each one of us. That is why we gather each week, so that we can focus on God and listen to his word to us. Like David, we are reaching out to God. God is Reaching Out for Us Amazing! By hearing and reading God's word, we've come to realize that God is reaching out to us in order to establish a friendship with us. Our search for God has brought us to Jesus Christ because God, through Jesus, has sought each and every one of us. Sunday mornings, then, are celebrations of who God is and what he has done. Jesus has paved the way for a lasting relationship with God! An Invitation We want to enter into relationship with you as well. So we invite you to continue seeking after God, for he is reaching out to you! |
