Our Leadership
First
Baptist is blessed with strong lay and pastoral leadership. The Diaconate,
our governing body, is comprised of four members selected at large and
leaders from the following ministry areas:

Student Division: Building
young believers into mature disciples of Christ

Kidz Division: Building children into mature disciples of Christ

Cell Group and Spiritual Formation Division: Building
adult believers into mature disciples of Christ

Body Life: Meeting the needs of members of the congregation

Finance: Coordinating our financial resources for our church
ministries

World Outreach Division: Outreach beyond our membership,
especially beyond our city

Property: Managing the building

Wichita Outreach Division: Helping bring Christ's healing to the whole person, especially
among the neighborhood poor

Worship and Outreach Division: Developing
deeper relationships with Jesus Christ through worship experiences
