God initiates a relationship with us and brings us into His family. Our affection is a natural response to His favor. A need to express both our gratefulness and our loyalty grows in us. So together we set aside time to connect with God in worship on Sunday.
On most Sundays, we meet in five places in the building, at separate times and in different languages. Any time you join us, worship will include reading and preaching of God’s Word, singing, and giving gifts to God. On the first Sunday of the month, many of us join together in the main sanctuary (with some translation available) and celebrate baptism and communion together. These Sundays are a celebration and a partial picture of what is to come when all nations recognize and worship God. (From Revelation 15:4, NLT)
If you haven't joined us before, it's probably best to arrive around 10 minutes before the worship service begins. Wear comfortable clothing. Because of our diversity, we dress in many different styles, from business casual to shorts and sandals.
Children from all cultural backgrounds gather together. Check the Children's Ministry page for the information that you need. In any service you join, we usually sing and pray right away as we gather. We want to be sure that true worship is what we are about. If a song is new to you, we have the words available. The sermon considers a specific area of the Bible. It is our goal to understand the Bible as it was written and allow it to change our lives. We finish our worship service with a response to the days’ teaching: a song, something to act on, or a chance for individuals to share their thoughts.
Before or after the worship services, we often gather and share something to eat and drink. With a cup of coffee or tea in hand, it is easy to spend a few minutes getting to know each other and catching up on life's latest happenings.
Sunday school classes meet before or after the worship service for those who want to invest this time learning and relating.
